Cayos Cochinos is a set of small islands and patches of sand nestled between mainland Honduras and Roatan. After living in Roatan for 10 years I finally visited the lesser know of the Bay Islands. What a surprise! It is the most beautiful natural setting I have encountered in Honduras, and doubt many others in the world share the same beauty. It is still a very isolated and reclusive destination, and sea conditions with winds blowing from the East make it an uncomfortable journey coming from Roatan located North. Thankfully for our visit, the sea was calm all day so it was smooth sailing there and back. Enjoy the photos!
